Someone posted the image below at TFM chat I straight and went OMG IT’S MIO!!!

Well it seems the figure is a 1/8 scale from Alter (OMG Alter), the Nendoroid of course is from Good Smile Company and both will be shown during Wonderfest 2009, which is not long from now, and also in Danny’s Tokyo Figure Show held in Harajuku from the 4th to the 9th of August (how I wish I could attend)

Both is an instant get for me no matter what, I hope Alter will release a full set of the K-ON! girls though. Now I am thinking, what if GSC or Max Factory decide to release scale K-ON! figure as well, I’ll be damn screwed.

More Nendoroid, Figma and Hot Toys coming our way. First up is Hot Toys 1/6 Wolverine figure, sculpted by Kojun and painted by JC Hong. The figure is based on the recent X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie, staring Hugh Jackman as Wolverine/Logan.

Was really looking forward for a preview of the figure when Hot Toys mention about it sometime ago, but a bit disappointed when I finally see it. I don’t really see the likeness of Hugh Jackman on the head sculpt, other than that the rest looks pretty good. Hopefully this headsculpt is not the final version.

Yesterday updates from Mika-tan blog, some preview photos on Nendoroid Riannon. Reservation for her starts today. More and more Nendoroids are getting release lately, they are cute, but I only buy those that I like, don’t want to get into collecting Nendoroids.

Another interesting update from Mika-tan blog today, this is the prototype of Subaru from StrikerS action figure that we saw in Tokyo Anime Fair if I not mistaken. This new series that looks just like a figma seems to be called ActSta, short form for Action Statue. The scale is 1/8 though, so much bigger than a figma, hence more details and movement I guess. Like Figma, additional parts is included as well, for her face and her gauntlet from the pics.
