Yup it’s time for another Witchblade post ^^, the last one was like hmmm more than 3 months ago, it was on Kotobukiya 1/6 Witchblade installing version, which is basically the normal version Witchblade. This time it’s the powered up Witchblade release by Alter recently, suppose to be release in July but it was delay, well I finally got her in my hand last week and now my Witchblade collection is complete. Two company release the powered up Witchblade, the first was from Kotobukiya, their version of the powered up Witchblade is even taller and more impressive than their previous 1/6 Witchblade but I decide to go for the Alter version as I somehow Alter version better.
So how does the Alter Witchblade compare to Kotobukiya’s, not too shabby I would say, it may not be as huge or as impressive as the Kotobukiya’s but it still can hold it’s own in the detail of the sculpt. Tanaka Touji choose a rather static pose for her, with her standing with one arm raise infront of her face and her long blade protuding from both her arms. A bit of dynamism is added to the hair where it swoop around from both side. She’s quite tall, standing at about 27cm from foot to the tip of her blade, the blade itself is already about 22cm from tip to tip, the second blade on her right arm is shorter though. A thing to note is her base, rather than the plain base that usually comes with Alter’s figures, she actually comes with a base sculpted to look like broken stones or rubbles, well the black plain base is still there but at least they added the stones/rubbles to it ^^
She’s actually made of a combination of different type of plastic, certain parts of her are actually softer, while some parts are harder plastic. The blade is made of softer plastic and quite flexible but don’t try to bend it in half though ^^.
Her leg is really slim, though it looks nice, I just hope she won’t lean in the future due to that.
Final pic of all the Witchblade in my collection, in front is of course Alter 1/8 Amaha Masane powered up ver., to her right is Alter 1/8 Amaha Masane casual dress ver., and to her left is Kotobukiya 1/6 Witchblade installing ver.
Overall I am quite satisfied with Alter’s rendition of Witchblade, the scuplt and quality are top notch. There are slight paint job problem but nothing to be alarm of as it’s barely visible. I actually prefer this to Kotobukiya’s version of powered up Witchblade and Alter’s version being smaller is just a bonus ^^.

Sweet figure, I really like the hair on this one 😉 Awesome setting used for the figure and great photos. Witchblade figures do tend to take up lots of space however, which is why I have to block them out of my head T_Tb
No box pics?
Power-up version is definitely the form I prefer, so can’t wait for mine to arrive… that’s too loooooong ;_;
Great pictures! Those “metal pipe” decorations suit well the WitchBlade ^^
I think the figure would have been something for me if it weren’t for those huge melons^^ But I totally dig her blade.
The second last shot is style up 34534097534points =D
Lol a bit more and this figure could be an Orbital Frame lololol. I could had got 1/8 Amaha Masane casual dress ver. instead of Motoko but I prefer Motoko, still need to finish watching this series
i like the decoration ^^
she is sexy, but her melons are too big for me =
agree with phamolous, the second last shot is the best
@shino~thanks, yeah they do take up some space but the alter one is pretty compact which is a good thing

@phamolous~all witchblade seems to be very very well endowed so haha ^^. last shot was a last minute one though but i do like it a lot
@Belela-san~too much ZOE Belela ^^, speaking of Orbital Frame, I have seen Anubis resin/kit not sure which, but looks real nice. Motoko is nice too, too bad i miss it
