You Are (not) Alone ~ Rei & Asuka

A long overdue shoot of Revoltech Fräulein Rei and Asuka. These two are my first ever Evangelion figure, I just have never gotten around to buying any figures from the Evangelion series, coz the one I am interested in is either too expensive or hard to find xD.
The ones from Revoltech Fräulein looks quite good and they don’t cost a lot compare to 1/8 figures, so I decided to get both of them.
Both Rei and Asuka comes with a base and additional hands. Rei comes with the Spear of Longinus while Asuka comes with a automatic rifle and a doll. Not a lot of photos this time around, posing them wasn’t easy, actually posing articulated figure is never easy, sometimes it’s the joint too lose that it won’t be able to hold the pose, or the joints too tight that you feel it’ll break if you turn it harder. Still prefer fixed posed figures xD.
But when you can pose them like this photos, well it’s kinda nice haha. I just wish I can pose them sitting as well, these girls can stand, lie down, kneel but can’t sit properly, something Revoltech should do something about.
Quality wise it’s decent, and the joints are nicely blended in, though still visible but it doesn’t looks as awkward. As I mention earlier posing them wasn’t easy, as most of the joints can come off quite easily, and after breaking my Revoltech Dante elbow from trying to pose him, I try not too move these girls’ joints too much.
Besides Rei and Asuka, I bought Rin as well, kinda wonder if they gonna make another Saber to go with Rin, would be nice though.

seems like rei is better than asuka, asuka hair is a litle bit strange
Great pics and nice figures . I’m not fan of the revoltech , figma and all the joints thingy but it’s not really visible on these ones so it’s nice
Maybe i’ll buy Rei someday soon ^^ (because i think Asuka’s face looks bland , Rei’s too but it’s more normal for her :p)
Judging by the preview pictures I preferred Rei do Asuka, Rei seems the more faithful to the series than Asuka.
The pics are really nice although I think there was a little to much light on Rei, besides that its really nice.
You want another revoltech Saber? not getting the figma one eh?
Too bad I can’t stand the Fraulein Revoltechs…I just got Pocco and her arm and leg broke…It’s too fiddly…LONG LIVE FIGMA!!

@Prim3~I’ll be getting the figma one, and if Revoltech release a Fraulein Saber I might get one as well. I am amassing a Saber army xD
@Pure Trance (Figured)~sorry to hear that, yeah they do break quite easily so I had to be very careful when playing with those joints.
I used to be more of a Rei guy, but now I’m more of an Asuka fan. Weird.
Still not into the whole Eva line of figures. But I like the last photos of Asuka and the doll. Has a really nice touch to it.

Somehow there is something that bother me with Fraulein figures, and for having seen them for real at a friend’s place, I now definitely prefer Figmas

The poses look pretty natural, all things considering. The one with Asuka reaching for the doll looks a little unnatural though.
