Aria ~ Alicia Florence

I have never watch the anime Aria and all I know about Aria is the setting kinda looks like Venice with the canals and gondolas, so I have no idea who’s Alicia Florence before or after I bought her :P. Well guess I should sit down and watch the anime one of these days, after all it’s feel funny to get a figure that I know nothing about xD.
Anyway I got her when she was restock at Hobby Search recently and ship her together with my Fraulein Revoltech Asuka. It beats shipping a Revoltech alone which gonna be costly, and Alicia is really a nice figures even though I have never really plan to get her, hooray for impulse purchase ^^.
My initial plan was to find a place with water to shoot her, but being the lazy bum that I am and considering I’ve been going out almost every weekend for photo shoot lately I just feel like staying home and sleep late instead xD. So it’s back to indoor shoot with a basic background and also a good chance to test out my new 50mm f/1.4 prime lens.
I just love her hair and the windblown effect, when you look at her you can just imagine she’s standing by a pier with the wind blowing ^^.
This is probably my favourite angle, I just love the pose and the little detail that is put in to the figure.
She comes screw to a quite a larger transparent base, I guess the empty space is for the cat that she comes with. The cat is umm Aria’s President or something, forgive me for my lack of knowledge on this anime.

Failed at trying to make a diorama of her standing on a pier. Maybe some real water would have been better but I couldn’t find anything to hold the water.

After some rearrangement I manage to clear up the small table that I use to put my figures shoot props and background on, which means I have more space for my figures ^^. I have to try to limit my purchase nowadays otherwise I would really have too many figures that I probably have to put them all around my room.

Got her during the 1st release.. Yea, the cat is President Aria, president for Aria Company lol The anime is reali relaxing ^^ If you enjoy pure girls and calm water with nice sceneries, you’ll like the anime

i just got my own alicia the other day, she’s a lovely figure and you should honestly give Aria a shot. it’s an amazing anime and i loved every bit of it…

Yeah, like ron~ I wish they other undine will have their GSC figure. Though, since Alicia is the most popular among fans (and I am not an exception, Alicia IS my favorite), I am bit pessimistic for the rest of the “crew”.
Your favorite angle (5th pic if I am not wrong) is also mine actually, even if her face cannot be seen. Her hair is such beautiful. I use to be found of pigtails, but Alicia hair style scores high too in my ranking ^^;
Impulse buys are always the best :p Makes you feel like you’ve achieved something even if it was unintended xD
I prefer Alice out of all of them though (even though I suspect throwing all the names at you just draw blanks, heh heh) but sadly have never gotten anything that’s Alice yet :/
Impulse buys are the best! I did it quite often in the early days of figure collecting and although you do get some duds, there are certainly some gems to find in doing so.

@ron~hmm funny thing is the box have both Max Fac and GSC name but yeah she’s listed under GSC in the website. It’ll be great if the other Aria girls get release as well but not sure I’ll be collecting all of them though

@shino & adun~impulse buy is great and all but harmful to the wallet though haha, so it’s good it doesn’t happen often, but once it does, I always manage to get something nice.

Yea, din heard news of other crew members’ going to be produced by GSC.. But collecting the whole Punit Collection allows me to collect everyone of them
